Establishing the World’s First Camera Module Contract Manufacturing Plant in Southern Vietnam

1. Pioneer in Camera Module Production, Supporting the Dawn

Since the launch of camera-equipped mobile phones in 1999, camera performance has dramatically improved with the evolution of smartphones.
As monochrome shifted to color and pixel counts increased, ever-higher image quality was pursued.
We began producing camera modules for mobile phones in 2007.
One of the biggest challenges we have faced since then has been the “battle against dust.”

2. A Fierce Battle Against Micron-Level Particles

As camera resolutions have become increasingly higher, even micron-level particles have begun to affect images.
For this reason, we have continuously worked to improve and maintain our production environment and equipment, maintaining a high level of cleanliness.
Through these efforts, we have established a production system in a Class 1000 (effective value) cleanroom, ensuring consistent quality.
