1. National Character and Growth Potential of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
1) A Young and Hardworking Workforce
The ASEAN region, where Vietnam is located, has one of the world’s youngest populations.
Vietnam’s average age is approximately 30 years old, and its young population is characterized by its hardworking and ambitious population.
Considering that Japan, where aging has long been a concern, has an average age of approximately 47 years old, it is easy to imagine Vietnam as a country full of youth, hope, and vitality.
Furthermore, Ho Chi Minh City, where our company is based, is the economic center of Vietnam, attracting many talented people from all over the country, meaning companies have no trouble securing talent.
2) Momentum of Economic Growth
Ho Chi Minh City’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the first quarter of 2025 increased by more than 7.5% year-on-year, recording the highest growth rate since 2020.
Ho Chi Minh City’s growth target for 2025 is set at a high 8.0-8.5%, indicating continued economic expansion.
Vietnam as a whole is expected to achieve GDP growth of approximately 6-8% in 2025, the highest in the ASEAN region, maintaining a stable growth trend.
2. Geographical Advantages and Advanced Infrastructure
1) Strategic Location
Ho Chi Minh City is one of Southeast Asia’s economic hubs, with excellent access to ASEAN countries.
With well-developed ports and an international airport, it is ideally located for imports and exports.
Currently, in line with the China Plus One trend, Vietnam is attracting significant attention as a new global production base to replace China.
2) Infrastructure Development
With developed highways, public transportation, and logistics facilities, the city has an environment that supports manufacturing supply chains, enabling shorter delivery times and reduced costs.
