My Experience Working at WSE, a Japanese OEM Company in Southern Vietnam

My name is Thuy and I work at WSE.

1. Work Experience at WSE

Through my eight years at WSE, I’ve found it to be a friendly and welcoming Japanese company.
Flexibility is always maintained, and employees are encouraged to demonstrate their creativity and adaptability.
I started my career as a translator in the Human Resources Department and then transferred to the Business Strategy Department out of a desire to acquire more advanced expertise.
I learned a variety of tasks in each department.

2. Emphasis on Compliance and Comprehensive Benefits

The Human Resources Department focuses on personnel management, flexibly updating internal regulations in line with legal changes and enhancing employee benefits such as salaries, bonuses, and insurance.
After transferring to the Business Strategy Department, I learned accounting expertise from scratch, and my superiors taught me how to understand and effectively manage costs.
By improving cost management software, streamlining business processes, and reviewing procedures to simplify operations in related departments, I was able to streamline cost management and reduce the discrepancy between plans and actual results.
Thanks to the knowledge and experience I gained in these two departments, as well as the support of many other departments within the Administration Headquarters, my ability to explain things in Japanese has improved significantly, my confidence has grown, and I’m now able to adapt to a variety of environments.

3. Building Trust Between Employees and the Company

Even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we were able to provide accommodation, proactively implement infection prevention measures, promote smooth production activities, and respond to customer requests.
This was made possible by the unity between the company and its employees.

4. Commitment to Improving Employee Skills

WSE is constantly working to create the optimal work environment for its employees, including fire prevention and firefighting training that can be utilized in employee dormitories.
In addition, we also provide training from external experts to help middle management improve their skills and effectively utilize them in the workplace.
